Classic Car Storage
Indoor Storage.
As well as our other services, Overland & Highway also offers indoor storage for your classic vehicle.
Our secure storage facility, situated in idyllic Shropshire, is located within the private grounds of our family home. It is discreetly located at the end of a tarmac private drive, surrounded by our own parkland.

We are conveniently located only 20 minutes from the end of the M54 motorway or the centre of Shrewsbury. Our nearest rail station is 5 minutes away, Birmingham airport is an 1hr15 away and the M6 is within easy reach.

Whenever you want to visit your car, we can pick you up from Church Stretton or Shrewsbury railway stations and have your car waiting for you, ready for your next journey. We operate strictly by appointment only, which also applies to the viewing of our sales vehicles.

We can offer storage packages to suit you; short, medium or long term storage from £20 + VAT per week with additional onsite services available.​..
- Discrete, secure, monitored storage our staffed premises.

We prefer cars to arrive clean, but we can offer on site valeting, keeping your vehicle looking its best.

UK transport can be arranged by reputable providers.

Fully Comprehensive Insurance, all vehicles stored by us are covered by our specialist motor trade policy. You will need to provide us with a copy of your own, up to date insurance certificate, and inform your company that your vehicle is with us.

Easy access 7 days a week by prior arrangement with free advice for customers.

Our standard check-in and out procedure includes a detailed inspection for damage with the customer, fluid levels checked and tyre pressures checked and increased where required. Personal effects and loose items unrelated to the car must be removed.

If any problem is found with your car whilst with us, you will be notified immediately.
Storage Packages.
We offer three standard levels of storage:
Motorcycle
Check-in, store vehicle
in its own allocated slot for the required amount of time, then check-out the bike on appointment.

Check-in, store vehicle in its own allocated slot for the required amount of time, then check-out the car on appointment.

Level Two
​
Check-in, store vehicle in its own allocated slot for the required amount of time with a breathable car cover, then check-out the car on appointment.

Recommended for medium term storage.

£24 + VAT per week.
Level Three
Check-in, store vehicle in its own allocated slot for the required amount of time with a breathable car cover. Each month check oil levels, start up the car and bring up to temperature, move the car under power to ensure free running of clutch and brakes, then re-store the car with check-out on appointment.

Optional Extras
​As well as our standard levels of storage, we can provide additional extras to create a bespoke package to suit your requirements.

Professional Wash & Dry: Your car can be washed with pH neutral car shampoo, and dried with a microfibre towel. From £16 + VAT.

Valet: In addition to a wash and dry, your car will also receive a polish and wax, the interior and glass will be cleaned plus wheels and tyres treated, leaving your car looking at it's best.
From £80 + VAT.

Battery Conditioner: A battery conditioner can be connected to your car to help keep your car ready to go. £4 + VAT per week.

Bespoke Car Covers: If you have a car or vehicle that requires a tailor-made cover, we can arrange to have a cover made for you. £POA.

If you have your own car cover, we will fit this to your car during it's time with us FOC.

Car Bubble: If you wish your car to be fully protected in it's own climate controlled environment, we can park it in an air chamber so not even a dust cover touches your car. A battery conditioner can also be connected inclusively. £24 + VAT per week.

If you have your own car bubble, we can park your car in it for an additional £2 + VAT per week.

Exercise: On top of our level three storage package procedure, we can drive your car on local roads (subject to weather conditions and roadworthiness) monthly to keep your car's running gear, suspension and rubber components free and lubricated. Upon return, the car will receive a wash and dry and a report of any faults will be sent to you to keep you up to date. Unfortunately we can't offer this service for motorcycles. £5 + VAT per week.

Classic Weekend: For our local clients, we can offer a bespoke weekend delivery and collection package to allow you to spend those summer weekends enjoying your classic. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. Unfortunately we can't offer this service for motorcycles.
Terms

For cars with an insurance value of over £100,000; a small additional surcharge will be applied.
​
• An upfront payment for a minimum of 2 months storage is needed before storage commences, unless
agreed otherwise.
• Maximum storage contract period of 12 months. No refund for any broken contract period will be given.
• Invoices will be given monthly in arrears, we only accept payment by cheque, BACS or standing order. Your car
will not be released if your storage payments are not up to date.
• A minimum of 48 hours notice is requested for guaranteed collection of your vehicle. Appointments
available during office hours (09:00 to 20:00 weekdays, 10:00 to 18:00 weekends).
• We have fully comprehensive insurance which covers all vehicles stored by us, however your vehicle
must be covered for fire, theft and accidental damage under your own insurance policy whilst with us (a
copy of the certificate must be provided). We advise you to inform your insurance company that your
vehicle is being stored at Overland & Highway Ltd.
• Any additional fuel that is required for Level Three or Exercise options will be charged.
• Condition reports will be completed on all occasions where the vehicle leaves or enters the custody of
Overland & Highway Ltd.
